My name is Jennifer L. Salter, and I have been the director of Lifeline Personal Training for over fifteen years. My primary objective in life is to help our clients identify what their dreams are for themselves – then create pathways for reaching them. Remarkable improvements in quality of life are achievable through physical activity and my job is to help you attain them!

In addition to being an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, I also hold two advanced certifications that are specific to working with individuals who have medical problems. I have a Master of Social Work degree, and regularly put my counselling expertise to use when working with clients on issues of pain management, short- and long-term goal setting, and lifestyle change. The Exercise Specialists on my team are mentored so that they, too, incorporate these important skills into their lexicon of practice.
The clients with whom we work have many dreams for themselves – having enough energy to happily make it through the day, participating in their regular activities with ease, playing with children and grandchildren without pain, enjoying travel in physical comfort.
At Lifeline Personal Training, we have extensive knowledge of how to break down your goals and make them achievable. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, which has been rewarded by long term client relationships that in some cases exceed fourteen years! Safety is our primary concern, and to that end, we work diligently to help you achieve your dreams in the most prudent manner possible. As many of our clients are referred to us by their health care professionals, we function as a team with anyone else involved in your care, whether that is your physiotherapist, medical doctor, naturopath, chiropractor, massage therapist, or nutritionist.
Our approach to training is holistic – incorporating cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and balance training, plus emphasis on good nutrition and stress management. We employ a variety of specialized training techniques, which enable a person to move to a higher fitness level with minimal risk of injury – regardless of what your fitness level is when you begin.
